Guys,
I want to replace factory sights on my P02 with either CZ custom CZ 75 Tactical Rear Sight or
CGW EZD sights.
Does anyone have them installed on their p01/p02?
Pics would be appreciated.
Trying to decide which ones to get

No one has czc or cgw rear sights installed ?

Yes, with the factory hammer fully forward, it is difficult to manually cock it. That is the reason I changed hammers on mine.
With the competition hammer, it is much easier to cock with your thumb.

I did a google search and found this pic that looks like a 75 with EZ/D rear sight and factory hammer fully forward.

Yes. With the new CZ Custom tactical rear, I can't pull back the factory hammer from the fully down position. Not a big deal, since I practice dry fire from the half-cock or fully-cocked positions.
-
Yep. The OEM hammer can't be cocked from the full rest setting with the CGW sight. I'm solving that by installing a CGW hammer.

I ordered cgw sight set to try, will see how it turns out

I settled on the CZC tactical rear and 6mmx2.75mm fo front.
I've tried CGW sight set, but rear sight notch was too deep and wide for my liking.

Are the rear sights easy to drift after loosening the rear sight set screw? I want to move my night sights to my P-02 from my SP-01 and install different sights on the SP-01, but I don't want to have to fight the rear. Front is easy enough.

They are in there good but its not too difficult to knock them out. I was able to do it without using a vice.

Do you IWB carry this gun and if so do the sights hang on anything?

Who has the night sights from CGW on their P01 and what do you think of them?

The Mepro night sights CGW sells are the standard CZ night sights that come stock on a few different CZ models. They are calibrated for different models, otherwise they are allot alike.

I have them on 2 of my CZ's. The only issue i have with the CZ night sights is that the front sight almost completely fills the rear notch. So very little light gets around the sides of the front sight. I prefer more light if i can have it. They are bright, sturdy, tall sights. Most folks seam to like them.

I have Mepros on a C75D (P01) and find them easy to align. I did need to file down the top of the front post//// as installed by CGW, I was shooting a consistent 2" low at 21'.

Thanks that helps.

+1
This is exactly what I was going to ask. I know CGW doesn't recommend these sights for CCW, but I'm still tempted to try / use them anyway. For one, I really don't care for the factory sights. And two, I don't really like or want "night sights" like the mepros. So anyone using these CGW sights on a daily basis??
-
Like Tok said, there's not much light around the front sight in bright conditions but, when using the dots in dim light they are super. 8) I'm considering opening up the notch on the rear a few thousandths for my tired old eyes.
-
Thanks guys I really appreciate the insight. I'm going to go with the Mepro. David at CGW is a wonderful guy to work with. I really appreciate his professionalism and dedication to doing things right!

I've had those CGW sights on my P-01 for a couple of years now and have not had any issues. It is my most commonly carried handgun.

Glad to know it will to replace my last plastic gun I carry (M&P-9). All CZ now!
