Title: California Legal?
Post by: Newbie47 on January 02, 2003, 02:04:47 PM
Anyone know if the Kadet Conversion is California legal?  So many handguns are not "legal" in this state.  I don't want to get my hopes up prior to purchasing my 75B (which is legal in California).

You're in luck!  The Kadet kit is considered parts, not a complete gun, so you can purchase it with no paperwork, no 10-day waiting period, or nuthin'.  I ordered mine from the very excellent High Bridge Arms in San Francisco, they had one Fedex'ed in, and I took it home (after a stop at the range, of course!  :D ) the very next day!

I bought mine from J&G in Arizona with a credit card.  It will come to your door for about $250 with two clips but bite the bullet and get at least one more.  These kits are fun and you can go through ammo in a hurry.  No papers to sign, no waiting period.  If you already have a CZ 75 or CZ 85 it's a good way to get a great .22! mapdude
