Hello. I though I would share my research.
Model: 600248 Tanfoglio WITNESS P 10MM DA 3.6W 15R POLYMER FRAME
Problem: shoots low ? 10 inches at 20 feet.
I could not find a taller fixed rear site. An adjustable was the only option I found. On the upside, it is at least fairly smooth with no edges to snag clothing.
This fits the later model Witness with .472? (12mm) dovetail. I?m not sure when Tanfoglio switched to this size; my earlier model Witnesses have smaller dovetails.
EAA offers a similar sight on their www, but the image shows a sight with no dots. PN 9102007

I have some useful (albeit questionable quality) photos, but don't know how to post them.

I've been using the crosman MIM adjustable rear sight for the last few years without any issues. I posted about it awhile back but it got buried.

Found it.
Crosman MIM adjustable rear sight from pyramid air is what you need. I have them on my Witness P-S. It's made by LPA. Way cheaper than what EAA offers and its the exact dovetail as the Witness steel frame. I'll post a pic in a minute.

I've tried that Crossman rear sight...problem....it's TOO high. You can't get it to adjust low enough to get it to zero either.... at least not on my poly small frame 9. Fits the slot great, but sight is too high.

Someone else posted about the same problem and the ground a depression into the sight so they could lower it more. On my PS-9 it was GTG, but that being said I've started to like the direct hold of the original sight picture.

Which is how my 10 mm and my P-100 are set up. Those are my two favorite carry guns and on silhouettes it's much faster.

Great info in this thread!
I notice one of the links was for an M&P rear sight. does anyone know if other manufacturers M&P rear sights will fit?
I have the steel 10mm if that makes any difference

The XS M&P Rear Sight will fit the SAR K2-45 and I would not be surprised much IF it also fit the Tanfoglio Witness Pistols as well.
Can't say for sure, though, as I've not tried it.

I needed to go one click lower but the high side of the detent cause the sight to hit the frame while I was turning the adjustment screw. This prevented the screw from being turned one click lower. So, I removed the site, adjusted the screw one click lower and then slid it back on. Sight has a few thousands of an inch clearance between it and the frame, and ...I am now on center.
I'm punching holes with 200-gr hard-cast lead from Buffalo Bore, Underwood and DoubleTap with no issues.
I like this little gun.

Glad it's working out well for you! :)

I used the LPA MIM from Pyramid Air. You just need to modify it a bit to clear the sight pocket, to get it lower. A step underneath, bevel, or grind some off the back should do it.

Excellent!

The crosman sight also fits the Baby Eagle II. I recently installed it on mine and I haven't had a chance to go to the range to zero it in yet, but it fits the slide and if you grind the bottom edge of the sight, it will allow more adjustment for a 6 o'clock point of aim.

Hello all. My first time on this site. I recently purchased a Canik Stingray-c with no rear sight, and the very short front sight. The rear dovetail measures 12mm as best as I can fit a caliper in to measure.
All the info here is very encouraging for me to find an adjustable rear sight. The Crosman LPA MIM is the one I hope to be able to use. So I called Crosman customer service to confirm the dovetail size. They had three different comments on the size from three conversations with the same lady.
1. 2300-010 has a 5/8 inch dovetail.
2. 2300-010 has a 3/8 inch dovetail.
3. Info on Pyramydair for 2300-010 says will not fit 3/8 inch, or 11 mm dovetail is inaccurate.
My guess is I confused her when I said I wanted to put the sight on a firearm.
I trust this site and those posting to it more then the Crosman rep. So before I order the sight I want to be clear about the size of the dovetail.
I think the agreed size is 12 mm. I also understand I may have to remove some material from the bottom of the sight to match POI to POA.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried the Crosman Lpa MIM rear sight on my Canik stingray-c. I was able to install the sight and it seems to fit correctly. My first time working on any gun so take it for what its worth. Test firing showed the rear sight to be way too tall, even when adjusted to the lowest position. When I ignored the dots and lined up the bottom of the rear notch with the top of the front blade then the poi was the same as poa. Now I have to change something to get normal with my aiming. I am thinking about a taller front sight and go with a fiber optic.
Any ideas or info would be appreciated.
