To the Tanfoglio Shooting Family out there... has anyone of you replaced or modified the sights on your Witness P?
I know you can swap out the rear sights to ones with a fully adjustable version, but those just have simple white dots, or no dots. What about the from sight, it's integral to the slide. Has anyone drilled out the front sight and installed something more visible, like Tritium or Fiber Optic? Or even possibly to the rear sight as well?
Just curious.

I recently got my Polymer witness 10mm. I replaced the rear sights, with the battlehook and just put some high visibility nail polish on the front sight. Shoots perfect, I use left over nail polish in girlfriend Junk door.

I'm looking for an adjustable (elevation) set. It seems the new P series takes a wider dovetail than the steel.
Talk about a PITA.

Thanks, That is the post I was hoping to see. EAA does sell the same sight, but without the dots (who knows why) and they are out of stock (3-4 weeks). If the Crossmans are the same thing, I will get them on order, then get them installed.
Update... PyramidAir could not confirm a direct match, but for $53.07 shipped Fedex 2-day and your experiences, I'll take the chance.

I got the Crossman adjustable sights...........too high. You can't get the sights low enough, even though they fit the slot just fine. Even bottomed out as low as possible....too high.

I did fix an older steel small frame 9 by having a slot milled into the existing front sight and adding a fiber optic. Works perfectly!

jwc007 & legionofdoon use the LPA MIM sight on the Witness P-S (which is what I have) without issue.
win308 says too high.
The pic of the Crossman LPA MIM, LPA MPS2TA30 and EAA 102007 all look very similar.

For $43+10 shipping, I'll give it a try. If it doesn't work, I have 30 days to get a full refund. It will take that long for EAA to get their sights restocked.
Well... it's due in tomorrow, we will see once I get it installed.

win308... what did milling the front sight slot cost?
Thanks.

Ok... the LPA MIM sights work, but with one caveat. The sight is slightly longer than the slot in the slide. My local smith modded the sight easy enough. He added 1/16 x 45 degree bevel along the rear edge. This may or may not be needed depending on how low your Witness PS shoots.

Yep............that's the problem. A little too long. (My front sight mill job was done at Wayne Novak's shop for $100....fiber optic front sight included.... at that price).
