Title: New cross pin every time?
Post by: newtocz on December 04, 2017, 04:22:50 PM
Do you guys install a new cross pin when you replace a front sight?

I have 75 B SA.

Yes, the pins are cheap.  If you don't have a pin, you can reuse the old one, but it may look a little dinged up.

Cheers,

not mandatory, specially if you have a good roll pin punch. O0

I forgot to order pins hence the question. I'll order some with my next big order just do not want to pay for shipping only for pins.

@copemech do you use brass roll pin punches, or steel is alright?

Where do you buy roll pins?

I see CZ Custom has one for 75 front sight, I also need some pins for P-10C.

Right, CGW also has front sight pin. What about pins of other sizes, e.g. back strap pin for P-10C.

Do you guys know the size of the front sight pin by any chance so I do not have to remove it?
