Title: p07 spring kit in a p10c
Post by: Flexible196 on January 02, 2018, 12:41:09 AM
I picked up a used p10c and I took it apart and noticed that the spring and guild rod are the p07 kit from cajun gunworks and in the box was also the factory setup and I was wondering what is the advantage to using a p07 guild rod and spring in the p10c or should I just put the p10c one back in it

I guess you would have to find a way to measure the spring weight differences between the two. My stock rod spring in my 2017 czp07 measures at 15lb when I racked the slide with my fish weight scale.

well, the p=07 setup does not come apart to change the spring as ti is "captured", but not sure the 10 is the same.

The stock P-10 plastic guide rod does capture the spring, but it's not clear the aftermarket stainless steel rods do the same.

I believe The p10c factory spring is 20 lbs, so it might be a bit stiff for target/competition ammo.  The cgw springs are color coded, so you should be able to see what you have.
