I've had mine since 1986 or so and I've used it extensively. I need to replace the extractor, but haven't been able to find anyplace in US to buy one. Can anybody direct me to a place where I can purchase a PR 008 extractor?

Wow you might have to get in touch with Tanfoglio in Italy FOR THAT ONE

Thanks for the response. I've already found the part on their website, but for some reason they don't allow online purchases in US. I sent them an email at their contact list. Waiting patiently for a response, but was hoping there might be an alternative here in the US

If need be, a pre-B Cz75 Extractor can be made to work, but you have to drill out the Retention Roll Pin hole out a bit.
Also, I recommend replacing the Extractor Spring at this time.
Very rarely do Extractors wear out. Usually, they break in order to need replacement.

Thanks everyone, I believe I've found the extractor I need now.

Where?

Where did you find extractor? and if you don't mind the part number. I have heard that the Excam TA 90, pre 2005 Witness and pre B model CZs have a lot of interchangeable parts. Can see my extractor will need to be changed in the near future. Just picked up a TZ75, manufactured July 1985, not long ago. The more I've shot it the better I like it. Solid and accurate. Thanks

I found it on CZ-USA.com, part number is 0420066003 EXTRACTOR STAINLESS 75 9MM.
I had to purchase the stainless extractor for $40 because the black version was out of stock $35
No modification was required, it fit like a champ.

My 1986 TZ 75 extractor seems to be machined in the slide. I cannot see anything that looks like a separate part and am having extraction/ejection problems. Anyone else have this problem or ideas on how to get it fixed - short of sending the gun back to the manufacturer?

I'm pretty sure the extractor is not machined in the slide. All of the CZ-pattern guns have a similar design regardless of who made them.
The main difference in the one's I've owned and seen is that the back of the opening in the Tanfoglio design's slide where the extractor sets opens into the firing pin chamber, and it's NOT open in the CZs. (I haven't seen any of the NEWER Tanfoglio guns, so that may have changed.) But the extractors are a separate piece held in place by a pin in every gun I've owned, seen, or shot.
You may want to contact the original poster (fwdsunbum) to see if he has any pictures he can share with you, etc., as he seems to have the same gun. (There weren't many changes in the Tanfoglio design through the first 10-15 years of production.)

One thing for sure. A TZ 75 extractor is NOT mulled into the slide.
Find a video. Use a punch from the top. Remove and examine. If the extractor is good replace the spring with a extra power one from Wolff. Clean the channel thoroughly. Replace. Use google. Watch videos. Read threads. Master the gun.
