We had one of the DW reps at our store this year, shortly before the CZ take over.

We have not yet seen a CZ DW but if they are the same as the ones we saw I could highly recommend them. Fit and finish were as every bit as good as any Kimber, they must have some very talented people putting them together, great work.

One of guys bought one right then and there, he is very happy about his choice.

Thank you for the nice comments. We work very hard to give people their moneys worth in our 1911s.  Let us know if we can be of further service.

Thanks again,

Jan/Feb 2006, I'll post pics and better dates as things firm up.

Thanks,

I ordered a DW 1911 Comander Bob Tail 10MM from my local authorized dealer over two months ago.  Can expect this to arrive in 2005 or is your early 2006 date a better expectation?
Also, I noticed that the months issue of Guns and Ammo did a nice write up on this pistol but failed to mention that it was being offered in 10MM. I hope it was just an oversight :)

Yes Sir, we are building 10mm's. You should see the Commander size 10's shipping around Christmas.

Thanks,
Bob:)

You guys will love the 10mm's  I have two of them and they are outstanding.

Bob would probably prefer that I not post a picture of mine as it would probably start something.. :D

I have heard a lot of good feed back about C-Bobs

Several have them in 10mm and really like them.

I hope CZ/DW revives the CCO configuration at some point.

They are a dandy size for CCW
