Anyone ever shoot this one?

It's not currently imported, but a friend of mine let me try his.  It's simply the most fun with a .22 auto that I've ever had.  I'd sell my car to get one.

Anyone know how one would go about getting one, or do you just have to get lucky?

How did that happen?  No "edit" feature either :o

I believe they are still made, see the "products" section at;

So it's a 22WMR, not a 22LR.

I've had a ZKM-611 .22WMR for about 4 years now.

I've tried just about every make & bullet weight of ammo, (took me most of a day) and the Winchester Supreme will print a 1" group at 100 yards.  That's a 3-shot group with no wind.  Not bad for a take-down semi-auto rifle.  I've got a Leupold Compact 6X AO scope with the steel quick release rings on it.  I've talked 4 or 5 people into buying one just by letting them shoot mine.

The rifle, scope, QD sling, 4x10rnd mags in pouches, 2x5 round mags in a pouch, a cleaning kit, and 100 rounds of ammo fit nice and snug into a SKB fitted take down shotgun case.  The coolness facter when I open the case up & put the rifle together in front of my buddies is priceless.  :eek

If you come across one, snap it up.  I think it's a better set-up than the H&K 300.

I just bought one for hunting squirrels.   I shot three right in the eye this weekend.
Good luck

I recently purchased a used ZKM 611 in Austin. There was no manual included. I wrote CZ-USA. They tell me they are not affiliated with BRNO and cannot help me. Can anyone explain the CZ BRNO connection. Also, any ideas as to where I can download, or purchase an owners manual.
Thanks

Brno is a place...most of the MFG's were war production/ state production firearms facilities.

Tau, CZ, Brno bla bla bla...most were located or shared the history of being a state run facility at some point making all kinds of rifles and war implements. They do share a history of like rifles and cross sales for a while (look at some of the CZ rifles and look at some of the BRNO rifles) but in the US there are two totally different companies that handle their import and it seems lots of the product does come from different locations in CZ.

The Brno rifles are imported by
EURO-IMPORTS/BRNO ARMS
Address: 905 W MAIN ST E EL CAJON, CA 92020  USA
Voice: 1-619-442-7005

They may have your manual.

Note: Lots of these companies were privatized in the late 80's and eary 90's due to their military contracts dropping to near zero.

The gun you purchased is a $259 gun wholesale (the 611A)
Nice gun for sure.

Fred,
I called the number for Euro Imports that was listed by caswinson, it is incorrect. A nice lady name Joy answered. I verbally verified the number with her. It belongs to a private company not associated with firearms. I will, however send a snail mail to the address that was listed and see what happens. I will keep you posted. In the meantime folks, please don't harrass poor Joy with CZ or BRNO calls.

I got the number off an old manual and now found this on the net. I would only guess that they are either not doing that anymore, moved, or the area code has changed.

I do know Euro Imports was selling rifles as recent as two months ago as I orderd 4 cases of the 611a from them.

I'm really sorry about that...I'm betting they are not doing the guns anymore...as there were LOTS of problems with the 611 and the 611 a was the solution.

I'll definately let you know if I get a reply when I send off snail mail.
By the way, the 611 is a fun carbine. The wood is beautiful. I shot it for first time today. 50 rnds Winchester, 50 rnds Federal hollow point. I fired at paper 25 then 50 yrds distant. This carbine is amazingly accurate. The trigger, however, is awful. Fortunately final let off is just smooth enough to keep you from jerking too much. As it is a breakdown, kleenup should be a breeze. I only had one failure to feed. I think I didn't have the magazine completely engaged.

Hey I'll look around and see if I have a book. I kept one because I wanted one...but I may have kept the one without the book.

If I find the book I'll send it to you...I'll make a copy formyself as I don't really care about the manual. That way you can have the original manual.

I'll post here if I find it...then we can e-mail info.
