Does a Kadet kit work on the SP-01?

I have asked in other places and no one knows for sure, although they tell me that a CZ-75B slide will work on the SP-01, so it should work.  I guess the only problem is that the Kadet kit may look funny on the SP-01 because it has the full length dust cover and the Kadet kit tapers down similar to CZ-75's.  I just want to know if the Kadet kit works on SP-01's.  Thanks.

I'm 99.9% sure it does, I'll try it when I get home from Area 4 this weekend plus I'll ask Angus when I see him tonight.

thanks man, would you be able to take a quick picture of it installed too?  I really want to see how funny it looks to use the slimmer Kadet slide installed on the wide full-length dust cover of the SP-01.  Anything would be great.

The slide isn't really slimmer than the top end that's on the gun.  

All of the CZ-75-based full-size slides are dimensionally similar.

but the front of a Kadet/CZ-75 slide does become narrower after the dust cover ends while the SP-01 has a full width slide and dust cover the whole length of the gun.  So using the Kadet on an SP-01 would leave a gap between the full width dust cover and the slimmer end of the Kadet slide.

Having not tried it I am not 100%sure either but I have to say yes it will work. I will speak with Jason and get him to try it.

OKAY.  I understand your concern.   That clearly would not be something that I'd be worried about.  I'd just want to be sure it works on the frame.

Walt, of course I care about whether or not it functions, but I would also like to know how funny it looks even though I will be buying and using a Kadet kit for it no matter how it looks.  We will soon see.

When you do fit it please post a picture, I'd be interested in how it looks too, wish I could say that I don't care as long as it's functional but I'd be lying.

Kadet on SP-01 appears to work just fine.  I'll try and get a pic or 2 tonight.
