P-01 holster chart

Hi stdlrf11. I think you have a great idea here. Have you had a chance to work on the holster list?  If not maybe the mods could consider this thread for a sticky.  There are probably many newbies like me who need to buy and use an off-the-shelf holster while waiting for custom gear.

I have too much time....0]

My personal experience is that Fobus's HK1 is not recommendable. It feels like you are shoving the pistol inside. When I tried it there were some bulges around the corner.

looks good

Edited to say:
My experience with the Fobus is almost opposite of yours, HorribleShooter. With mine, it feels like you are just dropping it in. I had to modify it to get the retention I wanted.

The UncleMike's Kydex holster for the HK fit like you described. If I wanted to use it, I would have to modify it also. I haven't yet. It is still in the back of the closet.

I'm using two holsters.  The Galco COP Series, CSL224B.  If memory serves, it's made for Glocks.

For days when I don't have a belt, I've got a Galco black plastic holster that clips on.  Unfortunately, there's no model number.. and I threw away the bags long ago.   I'll be back at the gun shop soon, and will track it down.

I've got pics..

Steve

A Fist-Inc IWB tuckabile made from leather instead of kydex, only 5 bucks more.  124 gr rem golden sabers, 14 round mags.  Now to get a mag carrier and Im set, the pocket gets old quick.

I just picked up a Galco M5X Matrix so a former LEO friend could shoot my P-01 at the local USPSA matches (while I shoot my SP-01 :D  ).

It's a Kydex paddle holster with adjustable tension and three aggressive tabs for securing the holster to your belt. I really like it a lot, it looks nice and secures well!

The exact model is M5X470.
