You need to better describe what you are looking for.  Are you looking for an ambi P-01 in 9mm?

CZ introduced the CZ-85B Compact in .40 a year or two ago.  It is similar to the P-01,  in .40, with a safety rather than a decocker, and in steel, rather than alloy.  It was discontinued soon after -- or, more correctly, renamed the 75B Compact in .40.

There is no real difference between the 85 Compact in .40  and the 75 Compact in .40 except the name on the slide.

Yes. it would be a P-01 with ambi controls in 9mm.

i know that P-01 is in 9mm, but it doesnt have the ambi controls. it would be easy to get a 85 lower and put it on the P-01, but i thought if there was some made that way it would be easier to buy then to cannablize.

First, it would NOT be easy to get an 85 that way -- because CZ won't sell the frame or the slide separately, and its no longer making the 85 Compact in .40.

The 75B Compact in .40 has those features, but isn't -- at least at present -- available in 9mm.

Secondly, the frame of the .40 Compact is STEEL, not alloy, negating some of the advantage of the P-01.  It is a much heavier gun (Especially when you look at the more massive dustcover area, in steel.)

Finally, its not a decocker version, and the P-01 is.

They look similar, but they aren't.

CZ has a large array of models, but continues to NOT make available a couple of the combos people want.

I'll add that Walt's comment is accurate.
I acquired in a trade for my Glock 34 a CZ 75B Compact .40S&W with a 9mm top end as well as the original .40S&W top end.
The 9mm top end is marked 75 D and I could guess that stands for the decocker model it came from originally.  They both work fine.

I would guess the lighter alloy frame would not be available in a long dust cover/light rail with ambi safety or any safety version.

I like mine, I just wish I could be confident about the compact .40S&W mag issue that's been discussed.  My set up only came with the 14 round 9mm mags and while .40S&W rounds fit, they are not reliable in this gun.  I have had success with full size 75B .40S&W magazines.
