« on: January 05, 2009, 03:07:48 PM »
For the last 15 yrs. i have heard at least 6 different stories about the dots issue, and i cant find an answer, i have 3 model 52s and all have 1 dot!
Does this indicate a perfect shooter? Please help, this has been driving me nuts!                         Thank you, very much! ??? ???

I would like to find an answer to this question. I suppose it lies with some military gunsmith. I have read in a book that there is a 1 to 4 dot system indicating accuracy after a rebuild. 1 being the best. I have read on this sight that they be nothing more than a hardness test punch. I would like to know what others have heard, even if they sound outrageous. Has anybody ever asked someone at CZ? Could this thread be moved to the 'relics' group? Thanks, Jim

We can move it eventually, but it will get a bit more exposure here in the mean time.
