FLGR Question!

Hi,
      Having a lathe,I turned a SS full length guide rod and it works and looks fine. one thing I noticed though is that the dia. of the rod does not match the hole size for the hole in the recoil spring housing(part# 63) Are the after market rods the dia. of the original plastic rods or are they a little larger to match the hole in the spring housing??? Any info or ideas on this would be appreciated! Thanks!

Mine is fatter than my plastic, closer to a nice visual fit in the housing.  It moves freely and looks right.  But a wide range of diameters will work fine.
