Both of my alloy Compacts were lightly used, but had some minor surface rust around the hammer area.  Yours looks like it has been refinished.  Strip it down and look over the internals real well just to make sure there isn't any rust.

I saw your pistols.  They are very nice.  Your post is what led to my search.  I was looking for an alloy Hi power for daily carry.  I had no idea CZ made a light weight compact SA/DA model.   My pistol has no  rust issues on internals parts.  I've took it apart and none of the parts have any rust.  Mine appears to have a trigger job performed on it at some time.  It has a better trigger than my 1984 Frankonia Jagger Sports model.   What type holster are you using?

I got three of those a few months back too.   I'm having one fixed up, the other will be kept original, and the third will be sold off if a friend doesn't want to buy it.

I was thinking the same thing about mine.  I showed mine to a friend last night and he said the trigger felt like his CZ 75B.  He handed me his CZ 75B (which was a '96 military overrun model not imported by CZ-USA) and the trigger felt just as good.

What type holster are you using?

Nothing fancy, just an Uncle Mike's inside the pants holster.
