Just got my CZ 97B and it works like an old Singer sewing machine. Gold Dot hollow points run through it like any other FMJ does. I have every caliber that CZ makes and all I can say is, "GREAT". I'm proud to own a product that is reliable and fun to shoot. Can't wait for something new from CZ to buy!

I have to say, the Czech site is a lot more attractive than our ghetto US site.  :D

First reply!!!

Since I saw my first CZ-97B at the shop next to my College on break between classes and shopping with a colleague for his new 9mm I was astonished. For the last 5 months I have been pedaling through this forum multiple times a week and finally joined.  The fiance has elaborated to me that she will not let me purchase one.  Because she wants to get it for me as a graduation gift. Gotta love it. So till then I will be putting in my two cents while continuing to enjoy finding out everything wonderful that is CZ!!!

Purchased my CZ 97B about a month ago and love it.  I find it a much nicer to shoot than the M1911 and much easier to disassemble.

Well I lucked in to trade that let me gain admission into the 97 club. I really wasn't looking for it, but I thought what the hell. Overall am not a .45 fan but if one gun could convert me it might be the 97. The gun is sweet, but I am not converted yet.

Had just gotten rid of all my .45's.  I was going to concentrate on 9mm and .40 S&W for a while.  Then I saw a 97BD on a local site.  Had to have it!!  Have already had it to the range and really like the way it shoots and cycles.  Have put rubber grips from CGW on it and am looking forward to trying them out.  Going to grab me a set of DaveB's gorgeous grips to fill my hand up a bit more.  Need to save up for schmeky's magic and get the barrel bushing and defensive package put in and polished.  I can't wait to get to know this fine firearm much more intimately.

Just got my 97BE back from CGW ,and to the enhancer package added an ss spring rod.as for how,it feels O.m.G. So smooth moving the trigger back put it in the right place for me. Thin grips and the piece fits my hand like a glove. When I first picked up the 97 the wooden grips made It feel a bit large, but all ready owning a cz 9 bought it anyway ,so happy I did.I have to give a shout out to David at CGW he's a very special talent, and a pleasure to do business with.
