 I bought a new 40s&w 75 b a couple weeks ago.I just noticed how the 9mm slide looks like a hi-power.I know they are based on the hi-power but why different slide shape between 9 and 40?

not sure..the 75SA guns ( 9m and 40 ) have the same slide configuration as your .40
also the 9mm full slides are radiused at the front and the .40s are left squared.
the SP01 slides are full also
