This is all my opinion so take it for what it s worth...
1. I say nay to duty and concealed carry primarily because it lacks a firing pin block, but cocked and locked helps negate this. Of course that leads to safety manipulation which i prefer to not hve to worry about. Not to mention its a large heavy pistol to conceal, but then I'm not a wide guy.
2. The lanyard attachment is a pain, especially if you have a lanyard. I qualify every year with a beretta and the lanyard gets in my way. Evenly without the lanyard attached it further deflects a load if you miss.
3. I say carry cocked and locked due to the lack of a decocker and FPB. I don't mind decocking at the range, but I'm not fond of it in the house since I am accident prone. Carry a round in the chamber. It sucks to have to spend the extra time to ack a round in the chamber and then have it not feed. Under stress you could short stroke the slide and not even pick up a round.
4. I'm simple so I prefer glock and XD for carry. I haven't had problems going back and forth from my XD for carry to my Shadow for competition. I like the decocker model CZs, just don't own one yet.
5. Mine does, but try it out in yours before you decide to carry it.
