Hello, guys,

does anyone here consider to buy a .22 LR conversion kit for VZ-58?

David.

Is there a conversion kit?

I think it'd be pretty sweet if there was, but it'd have to have an awesome price to get on that bandwagon.

I thought there was a kit built around the original rifle configuration. You inserted a barrel inside the stock barrel and it was held in by the threaded end. This is a problem for us in the US as we do not have ready access to the threaded end unless you registered it as a SBR.

I will look around and see if I can find those details.

Exactly, Armed Hiker. However, there is a solution for US vz 58 types (see http://www.puskar.cz/prestashop/product.php?id_product=28). There is a pit on the bottom side of the original barrel allowing to fix the sleeve with a screw. Then the rifle looks like if it has a silencer...
The fixing tool is equipped with a bayonet mount, therefore it adds the possibility to mount the original vz 58 bayonet on the rifle.

We actually finished the development of the US version of the kit and considering to ship first series to USA, if there is an interest...

David,

I think there would be interest, but it really depends upon what the end price would be for folks here in the US.

Hello. I would like to see more stats/videos on these conversions and how accurate they are as I would be using this for hunting small game. I heard about them on another vz58 forum and saw a few videos on the tear-down and assembly. I would like to see more! Very interested.

This is the video that I saw on another forum. I love the simplicity of the kit but I want to see the bullet spread on the target. Not just the gun firing as sexy as it is  :D

This is exactly what I was looking for... something that could be permanently attached and give me the threading for various accessories!  When can you get it into the US?
