Century Arms PW87 Lever-action Shotgun
« on: March 14, 2013, 01:12:16 AM »
After watching Terminator 2 in 1991 I have wanted a lever-action shotgun. CAI now offers a Chinese-made copy of the original Winchester 1887. This is the review from Shotgun News.

kind of cool.  if you can get it, at a good price i think it would be a fun novelty gun. in his article he says they come with a fixed modified choked barrel and in his review he was shooting slugs through that?  didnt know you could do that.  thought it had to be a cylinder bore or ic to shoot slugs?

Repro '87's have been around for awhile. I shot one 5-6 years ago at a Cowboy Action Shooting match. I found it not very easy to shoot even though I've been shooting lever action rifles for years. The stroke is extremely long, compared to a Winchester '73 or '92 rifle.

Chiappa, Norinco and Rossi have been offering these for a while
Even though it's only a .410, the Rossi has a real nice feel
