The hammer looks interesting. Not quite skeletonized, but also not quite full. Wonder why it has a small hole in it.

Went back to take another look around the CZUB store. The store price for the Compact Shadow Line converts to about 1,000 USD (prices in the CR include a 20% VAT/sales tax).

Nope.  Unfortunately us Canadians don't usually get compact pistols due to the barrel length being shorter than 105mm. :'(  The manufacture would have to make a run of longer barrels for us which doesn't always happen and it kills the looks anyways.  Stupid Canadian laws.
Just these 2:

Features apply to both models.
- New style black aluminum grips
- Caliber 9mm
- Advanced ergonomics
- No firing pin blocks
- Tuned trigger
- SP-01 shadow fiber optic sights
- New combat modern hammer shape
- Ambidextrous thin shape safety
- Steel recoil spring guide rod
- Smooth nickel-plated trigger blade travel
- High accuracy , service life and reliability
- 2 mags included

The Mags are supposed to be nickel plated.  I just bought one (SP 01 Shadow Line w/FDC) from a local retailer and the box had two 'Blued' Mags in it..  Wondering if someone did a "switcheroo".   Anyone know if they all come with Nickel Mags?  I'm kinda miffed about it at the cost, though it only costs about $25 to plate them.  I was expecting the shiny deal.

If it were near me, and I had the money, I would totally buy it. I would probably buy it even if I had to borrow some money. Those pistols are quite rare from what I understand.

Meant mostly for the European market as a factory upgraded line so not many made it to the States. Good luck with your decision.

Yes, in a heartbeat.  I have the Full-size 91166 and it is set up very nicely.  A compact would be stellar.  Good luck.

Yes! The moment some show up state side I will get one. That there pistol is the reason I jumped on the SP-01 Compacts.

Buy it, you wont regret!

The cz75 compact shadowline is the only pistol i have That is completely standard.
Stainles recoil spring rod, no firing pin block.just right main/recoil spring from the factory.
Verry crisp and light sa pull, short light da pull.and a short Audible reset.
The good shadow sights.
And 2 Nickle plates magazines with rubber buttstop plate.

The only bad thing about it is That it is my wifes favoriete 9mm now.
She liked the aluminium frame light weight, the soft trigger and the low recoil??
She hated the sp01 shadow, lol
