I've got my Rami 40 working
I'll be OK for awhile.
Though awhile isn't any longer than 4 weeks.
Still,,,,,,,,,,, a new alloy Rami For our P ....
You can't beat that!

My new Rami BD was flawless the first time to the range. It was the replacement gun from CZ after they replaced my Rami P. Now, the honeymoon is over. FTF's every other magazine. The first time to the range I was shooting Lawman round nose ammo. The second time I was shooting Remington UMC, which is pretty dirty ammo. The feed ramp was getting as black as the ace of spades. I guess I am in the same boat as the hoards of others experiencing FTF's. Disappointing, needless to say. With ammo in short supply it is difficult to try a bunch of different stuff in the gun because you are relegated to buying pretty much what is on the shelf. I haven't expiremented with a variety of self defense ammo yet due to the price and shortages. I don't want to use the good stuff that works well in my other guns because I don't know if I will be able to replace it. A conundrum I guess. Of the two magazines I have been using I have one with very stiff springs and one with the looser springs. Both magazines have FTF's. So I am not sure that changing the mag springs will have any impact of the FTF's. What else have others tried beyond replacing the mag springs that has seemed to work???

NRA iinstructor
Get some recoil springs (CZ USA $3 apiece)
And CZ compact magazine springs (Wolff springs 3/$23)
That has fixed my ftf in my Rami 40

NRA Instructor: I replaced my old outer recoil spring with a new outer recoil spring, and that solved all my problems (similar to your problems), on my 9mm RAMI BD. Cheap, easy, fast, and reliable fix.

Join the crowd! I'm struggling with CZ's statement to one of this board posters that the Rami is not a range gun! What does that mean??? If it is not reliable at the range how can I feel confident with it a a CCW? Mine worked flawlessly for the first 100 rounds and then started the FTF's. Have not contacted CZ yet but some have suggested that I get new recoil springs. If the recoil springs on a brand new gun are not proper what good does it do to replace them with the same springs again? What are your thoughts?

I'm thinking they meant that its not meant to be taken to the range all the time. It was designed as a carry gun, not to be fired 1000's and 1000's times. I think because its a small gun, the spring wears faster, due to the extra forces created by a smaller lighter pistol. I may be wrong, but thats how I read it.....
