Fix for 75 Shadow Custom Blade-Tek DOH "Offset"?
« on: September 22, 2013, 10:27:50 PM »
I shoot production class USPSA with the 9mm 75 Shadow.  My BT DOH offset is just barely under 2" when using the 16rd mags on the CR Speed belt cinched tight
I was questioned about it by an RO who knew the rig.  He let it ride, but the idea is established . ::)
I'm skinny--30" waist,  and the holster offset shows up more.

Is there a method established to shim the bottom of the holster (or other methods) to keep the offset just slightly closer to the belt--maybe 1/2"??

Tek lock or ASR belt loop.?
The loop is a little closer.

Stuart, I'm not smart on what those do or change on the holster position.
I like the drop and some offset, and wouldn't want to bring the holster to the belt.

The tek lok and the ASR is the belt attachment that screws to the DOH hanger.
We have a shooter that changed from TL to ASR for IDPA, because of too much space .

Ah, so screwing it to the ASR belt attachment pulled it in a little?

Thanks.  I may give that a try.
I heard one guy put a rubber or plastic spacer on the bottom of the holster, next to his leg.  Didn't sound good to me.
