Again - as I mentioned in another post - I picked up my PCR for $309 NIB.  I'm in North East Pennsylvania.  The shop is

Matt's Shooting Supplies
180 Maple Tree Road, Dallas, Pa 18612
Phone: 570-477-3330 | Fax: 570-477-5378 | Email: lazer1@epix.net

Give him a call and tell him Gary Roberts (the CZ PCR guy) sent you!

OK - You guys started freking me out with your replies.  I saw how many of you were shocked at the price I quoted and you got me wondering.  I picked up my PCR from the dealer above in mid January.  It was on a somewhat of weapon trade.  I had an immaculate S&W Performance Center 629 Hunter (thru Lew Horton) in .44 Mag.  I traded this weapon for my CZ-75D PCR and Taurus Model 85 TotalTitanium .38 Spl snubbie.
I really love the feel of the CZ and pretty much hate the feel of everything else in my hand (including Glock, Sig, and all 1911's).  The .38 Taurus is for CCW.  I was excited about jumping into this discussion board and sharing the enthusiasm.

Major faux paux though.  I goofed on the price.:(   I wouldn't have double-checked if you guys didn't go so bananas over it.  It was $409 for the PCR NIB and $375 for the Taurus.  Still relatively good - but nothing compared to $309.  Believe me - I didn't put it out as a fake brag story - why would I plug the business I dealt with.  All I can say is oops! in a major way - and I'm sure I'll hear about it next time I visit Matt's (once a month on my National Guard weekends.)

Sorry guys.  I'm glad you raised cain cuz I woulda kept posting the $309 price.

Am I forgiven?
:rolleyes

Actually, this is a good thing.  I've found I have zero will power when it comes to purchasing firearms and if this guy was actually selling them for $309 I wouldn't have been able to resist.  Who knows how many I would have purchased????

As for forgiving you, you'll have to do penance.  Go to the range and shoot at least 100 rounds through that PCR.  :)

Just for price comparison around the country [I live in CT] I bought my PCR on 12/19/2002 for $360.35 out the door. At the time I was shocked as I had been quoted a price of $455 over the phone. So when I went to pick it up and I looked at the price on the receipt prior to writing my check I was surprised. He asked me what price he had quoted me and I just said: "More" :D . He showed me his price which was around $310 and assured me there was no mistake as I asked him to double check. I figure he made about $30 on the sale.
