vz.70 on GunBroker
« on: August 07, 2014, 10:30:45 AM »
My local gun shop has a vz.70 (or CZ70, if you prefer) listed on GunBroker. It's been hard-chromed, has what appear to be Marschal walnut grips, three magazines, and doesn't look as if it's been fired much if at all. Makes me wish I were in the market for another one!   ;)

I looked it over and it really doesn't look like it's been shot at all since it was hard-chromed, and not much before.

My local gun shop has a vz.70 ... Makes me wish I were in the market for another one!   ;)

Easy for me to say, but this sounds like a PERFECT opportunity for you to 'enhance your collection', HH.

Buy the hard chrome pistol and sell off one of your other ones!

The price seems a wee bit spendy, but it sure is a looker  http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=433214610#PIC

If I hadn't just bought a new Auto-Ordnance 1911A1, I probably would. Unfortunately, the year's budget is about shot!

Amazed that this didn't sell.

Here's your chance, Chief. You ought to give him a call.  ;)

It's a gun appreciated by those who know it; but, it was still  expensive.

Yeah. $350 might be more like it.

If I had any funds left I'd buy at the $350 price!

I was talking to him this morning. He said that he was probably going to re-list it, and I suggested that he cut it to $350.

A buy it option at $350 would be nice. It's a shame I've spent my funds for now! Sniff...

The hard chrome goes for $155 and grips are about $50. $350 would be a bargain and hard to duplicate unless you got the gun for $150

I agree. That's why I was so surprised that there were no bids. Then, again, GunBroker can be a crap-shoot from one week to the next. Who knows? If he lists it again it might bring $500!   ;)
