CZ82 Slide Check Cuts and PCR Rear Sight

It was time to show my old CZ82 some love. I fit the slide/frame, removed import marks, added slide check cuts, PCR rear sight, CZ83 grips, all new springs, and a new firing pin. I have seen the PCR rear sight done before, but had not seen the slide check cuts, so I decided to give it a try. I also wanted to try Cerakote, which ended up being very easy to use. I do apologize for not taking more pictures while machining... very sorry.

I have been toying with the idea of updating my CZ-82, do they accept plain CZ-75 sights?  I seem to have read reports saying yes and no.

The answer is kind of yes and no.  Yes they fit, but sights for a CZ75 Compact is a better match because it better matches the sight radius of a CZ82/83.  Here is picture of my refinished CZ82 with night sights from a CZ75 Compact.

Huh, I would've thought that removing the import marks would illegal.
