I have seen numerous postings about the difficulty of getting a laser site for the Rami, which makes perfect sense (the having one part, not the difficulty of having one). As a CCW, the RAMI is one of the best out there, its accuracy incredible. Picture the worst case scenario: there you are with your wife, friends, significant other, and a situation presents itself where you have to draw or get knifed or shot. In that split second the world changes.
You respond, drawing your weapon, indicate you are armed. Several things can happen, most of them bad for you. I believe in these cases, you must respond with force. Here's the problem: you must take a shot immediately, and in these situations in almost all cases the first shot misses. Why? Nerves, stress, no time to site the target. Here's the answer: a laser mounted on a rail on the bottom of the Rami, which according to my searches, has not been done yet. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've even gone to CZ Custom as I live in AZ and they told me no possible way. But they were wrong. My Rami is at a gunsmith right now, who explained in detail how he could do it, and finish it off like it was an original part of the Rami. I already had a Crimson Trace Small Green Laser that we believe will fit perfectly. For those of you interested, I will post the results in about a week, complete with PICS and a shooting report. BTW the cost for the custom work without parts will be around $200. Maybe a lot for some, but saving a life, you cannot put a price on that.
