What is this tool?
« on: September 29, 2014, 10:31:32 PM »
Found this three armed flat metal 1" tool floating around in the box when I opened my new 2014 Kadet Conversion .22LR kit. What is it used for?  Thanks!

Indeed, it is a little tool for adjusting the rear sight for elevation (up and down) and windage (left and right).

I put a key chain on mine so i do not loose it.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Thanks, Gents.  I can barely get the new Kadet mounted onto my CZ75 Stainless - I doubt I will be able to adjust the sights accurately!  LOL. Thanks.

Have you followed the fitting instructions?
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

HOLY COW Painter. Thanks for the tip.  I had not seen the "fitting instructions".  Now I will attempt to understand them and carry them out.

Usually an Emery Board or Nail File will be enough of a "File" to do the Fit Job
Usually, it just a matter of removing the PolyCoat and not much more
If you need more (more Metal removed), be sure to use a Safety File to protect the areas you don't mean to File
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

When fitting mine for my CZ 85B. I only had to take material off the very end of the Kadets slide rails.

Another thing to be aware of is that you may be able to use the slide stop from the pistol you are fitting it to. I was originally under the impression that you had to use the slide stop supplied with the Kaedt kit. This did not work for my 85B in that 85's have a slide stop that is pinched at the end to fit into the right side slide release lever.

I also use my Kadet on my SP-01 using the SP-01s slide stop.

Good luck with the fitting, take it slow.

Can't thank all of you enough.  Cumulatively you have given me and others who read this a primer on this issue!
