The following info is from 'Know Your Czechoslovakian Pistols'.
's standing lion 8'= Czech military acceptance mark, early 1920's.
'V.A.'=Military academy, Hranicich.
'Left side front strap'=May be a regiment or battalion the pistol was assigned to, but there should be other letters/numbers after it.
The bakelite grips were introduced in the late production of CZ 24's. The 22's had wooden grips.
The magazine is from a CZ 27 which is .32 cal.
