Looking for P-01 barrel bushing
« on: February 18, 2015, 08:05:26 PM »
Hey all.  It's been a while since i've posted, but i find myself with nowhere else to turn.  The short of it is that i am in need of a P-01 barrel bushing.  It is not as simple as ordering one from CZ usa or Cz custom shop.  Cz usa does not sell them to the public... not even CZ custom shop.  I lost mine due to my own stupidity and don't particularly want to spend $120+ to have CZ fit a new one.  The mistake was mine, but am perfectly capable of repairing it myself.  That being said, if anyone has a damaged beyond repair P-01 slide and would like to make a few bucks please send me a PM!  Also, if anyone is or knows the powers that be in the CZ world and can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Joe

Haha indeed Viking. I purchased night sights for it and figured that the roll pin wasn't needed if i used a bit a blue lock-tite.  My thought was "hey if the sight falls out i'll get a new one".  You really can't see where a bushing is needed til it missing.

Tripps33,
I'm guessing it was at an outdoor range.....
Have you tried finding it with a metal detector?
I would think someone in your area has one you could borrow or maybe
a cheap one at a pawn shop.
Hope you find it!

If it was a drop in part, they would be in people's inventories.  If they are not, it is likely due to the fact they DO require fitting - fitting CZ wants done right.  (So they do it themselves)

I think you are potentially asking for more problems by not just ponying up the $120 and having it sorted by the people who make the gun.  (In this instance)

We have bushings .
or we can ACCU the P01 slide now too.

its not a drop in part, was never meant to be a replaceable part. may need fitting.

Sounds like a good time to get an Accu bushing OP.  :D
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

What does this consist of.  (Curious)

I'm in your custom work tab, and I don't see it.

Slide is customized for a threaded bushing. Bushing and recoil guide plug is fitted to the slide, bushing is fitted to the barrel.

You forgot, looks awesome.  I did a lot of googling and found some old threads on the accu shadow and kinda figured it out.

Approx cost?

I am also curious about the ACCU upgrade.  If it is too much i may pass, but absolutely sounds interesting.  Please give us that are interested a rough estimate!

I did lose it at an outdoor range. ...well my brother did.  We took a few guys out shooting before camping for my bachelor party and my brother was shooting my P-01 while his best friend was shooting my wife's P-07.  (We like CZ's).  The problem with trying to find it is that it's a rather large graveled public land range that is frequented all the time.  It is simply gone.

Again i thank all of you for the help and answers.  If you have any other ideas i'd sure be glad to hear em.

I am pretty sure we have bushing for the P01.
I will check if so, how much and what it takes to install.

The ACCU we have started to do on the Compacts. will be the same as the doing the work on the SHadow slides.
$350.

The stock bushing is not a plug and play part.  It's a real "you know what" to get fitted.
