Right after the Sandy Hook tragedy I bought a Smith & Wesson MP 22 rifle for $250 and it came with 5 mags, a nice soft case and 600 rds of CCI mini mags when everything was sold out.

I only have 1 good deal.  At least after looking at the GB auctions I think it was.

I bought a SW 1006,with all of the original stuff from the box, the manuals, the warranty card, the wax paper, etc. and 400 rounds of 10mm for $700.  I don't think it had more than 50 rounds fired.  It was fun for a bit, but I am toying with selling it now....especially after looking at what some of the nicer ones are going for on GB.

No, $701 won't buy it! ;D

Nice, hopefully that starts to become the norm over the next year or two.

I scored a brand new PCR today for $429. Saw it and immediately sold a "junker" AR-15 to fund it. Pretty happy about it.

My SAR K2 45 for $355 from Buds when it looked like the importer was dropping the line and they dumped inventory... Good timing. Scored half dozen mags with it too.

I've had a few deals that were decent, but nothing outstanding.  Best I can think of are:

Ruger SR1911 for $599 BNIB
Sig Sauer TacOps 1911 for $679.80 BNIB
CZ 40P traded for an M&P 45c I just couldn't warm up to
Lightly used CZ Rami I bought from a friend for $400

Top pic is all 5 of my CZ's, including the Rami and 40P:

Bottom is another pic with the Ruger and Sig (top left, under the AR):

That was from when I only had two CZ's...lol!

That was a heck of a deal. Who was the importer for your SAR?

I have.  I also carry it pretty often.  It's a very nice gun and very accurate as well. I wish the rear sites weren't as wide, but otherwise I love the gun.  For just under $600 brand new, it's a great value.  A buddy of mine just bought one and he loves his as well.  Oddly, we found the prices have gone up on it in the last few months and it's often sold in the $650 - $700 range now.  Glad I bought mine when I did!

I finally bought a used CZ P-09 for $400 today and I didn't have to go far to get it. I may have gotten some better deals before, but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite handguns. This CZ P-09 was made in 2014 and the first owner bought it on 12/5/2014. I am owner #3 :o I don't know why anyone would let this gun go. There is nothing I don't like about it ;D

Thanks terry mc. I never thought I would own another poly framed gun. I had a S&W SD9VE that was an excellent self defense pistol. You could run any kind of ammo through it with no problems and it had great ergonomics, but I hated the trigger. Taking it to the range was just plain depressing. When I sold it I swore that that would be the last poly framed gun I would ever own. Then, I starting reading this forum. The reviews were so good that I had to give the CZ P-09 a try. It's everything everyone says it is. Great trigger, great sights, nice weight, nice grip, and it's accurate. It also holds a lot of ammo. I like it ;D

In 1995, My sister asked me to find a good self-defense pistol for her. She wound up paying $240 for a CZ83 in 380 that I found for her. In 2008, my sister sold it back to me for $150. I told her it was worth more but she wanted to me to have it and didn't want more than $150 of my money. She had put only 200 rounds through it. I still have it and will never part with it.

From GunBroker - a Husqvarna Lahti M-40. There is a little bit of pitting on the outside, but nothing major and the bore looks really clean. Included is the leather holster, a spare magazine and the loading tool/screwdriver.

It was listed with a $400 buy-it-now option.

addendum:  I love the feel of the Lahti (I think it points and feels even better than a Luger). This one was bought to be a shooter, and it has already had 1 box of Fiocchi 9mm through it in the first 4 hours that it has been in my possession.
