Traded my 8 year old Glock 23 for like new P-09 FDE. When I met with this young man I tried to talk him into keeping the CZ. His dad had given it to him as a Xmas present but all his friends had Blocks.

This was not my best gun deal, but I think it was a fair one. I just picked this up for $599.99 this weekend at my LGS. If I could have pried the money out my hand for Black Friday, I could have got it for $579.99. I could have gotten the Saiga AK-47 5.45X39mm for $529.99.
It's funny, 7 years ago I would have never thought I needed one. Now, I thought I'd better get one before I can't.

Saiga AK-47 7.62X39mm. They aren't pretty, but they're tough as nails.

Got this EAA Witness in 45 ACP the other day for $347 OTD at my lgs. I think its date code is 1986. Hardly used but has some discoloration. Not my best deal but most recent.

Thanks for that Den.
Been reading a lot & found the EAA section on Enos this evening. So much to learn.
Henning basic kit & LPA rear sight on the way. Shoots LOW as most older ones do...
Sear spring popped off sear first day out & learned a neat trick to fit it better.

Hey all,

The vet I use to take my dog to was a part time FFL holder and from time to time bought and sold guns. I had recently purchased a Ruger GP100 4" SS 357 mag and was on the look out for its cousin a S&W. Took my dog for a checkup and he and I were talking and told me he had one for sale. He bought it sight unseen from the widow of a police officer. He said he had no need for it and make him an offer. The gun looked like it had not been cleaned for years. I made him a ridiculously low offer and he took it.

It's a S&W 686(no dash) 4" SS 357 mag. I cleaned the gun on and off for 2 days and it was in great shape under all that carbon and crud etc. There is a smudge mark on the right side just in front of the cylinder. I called S&W and according to the serial number was mfg'd in 1987. I know the early 686's had a problem with the trigger malfunctioning(I think, not exactly sure) mine has been absolutely flawless.

Here are several pics. I know the pics are not the best. It's my crappy phone.
