Holster for new CZ 75 p-07 w/laser
« on: February 27, 2015, 03:42:00 PM »
I'm new to this forum and would like opinions or recommendations for a holster.
I have a new CZ 75 p-07 w/ CMR-203 laser sight.

I'm considering this holster - http://www.ebay.com/itm/161611885150?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT made by Pro-Tech.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand/holster, if not, what would you recommend?

Thank you.

No experience with that holster but I can recommend Bravo Concealment. It will take 5 weeks or so and cost about $85 but you'll have a much better holster for that gun. The light bearing holster on there page gives that cmr-203 as an option. They make a holster for almost every CZ by the looks of it.

Take a look at http://www.daraholsters.com/owb/  Looks like they can make it with your laser.

I own their OWB holsters without attachments.

I just received the Remora Series 10 IWB clipless ambidextrous holster for my P07 w/ a Viridian C5L-R light+laser.  Fit is great and really holds the gun quite snug, no wiggling at all.  Its semi tacky surface keeps it secure, even when I'm just wearing sweatpants and jumping, sitting, running, etc.  It's not bulky, and it's really very comfortable.  Besides function & form, it's only $16.95 + shipping.

Check out the video review below:

Note: In retrospect, I should've ordered the reinforced top (RFT) for another $6 to keep the top open for easier reholstering.  Watch the video @ 2:30 timer that compares the IWB RFT vs. IWB regular.

Anyway, check it out for yourself:

http://www.remoraholsterstore.com/category-s/2083.htm

I started with Build Your Holster and chose the CZ P-07 Duty (doesn't matter if you have the Duty or 2014 version).  Then you'll just need to select one of the following options:
  Inside the Waistband (IWB)
  Shoulder Rig
  Outside the Waistband (OWB /IWB)
Ankle Holsters With Thigh & Calf Strap Options
  Reinforced Top (RFT)
Tuckable - Inside the Waistband (IWB)

I would suggest getting the reinforced top (RFT) to allow reholstering w/o having to pull out the holster from inside the waistband first.  It took nearly 2 weeks from ordering to receiving it in the mail since they had to build it to my specifications.  They shipped it with a free accessory -- a spare magazine holster.  Can't beat this value, that's for sure.

How do you plan to carry?

IWB, OWB, AIWB?

I got a KT Defender with light for my P09. I am happy with the quality, function, and price. I will buy from KT again.

Kydex is pretty easy to work with and you don't need that much stuff.  I made this as my OWB carry/competition holster. it's big but i was looking to make something a little eye catching.  I am making an appendix carry version for my p07 that will be very minimal.
