CZ75 SA Availability
« on: June 13, 2002, 05:00:51 PM »
Hi there. I'm interested in buying a CZ75 SA. The problem is that I live in Spain and it seems that this gun is available only in the USA. Is that right?. I have only seen it on the cz-usa web page. And in that case, who makes them?. I have a CZ75 pre-B in twotone and I've tried to install an ambi-safety with no luck. Thanks.

I have the same problems of availability in Germany.
CZ said their subdivision in USA came up with the idea of
that certain SA version of CZ75. The demand for this particular model is very low in Europe because they are offering other guns like the IPSC or Champion version for sports shooting, therefore they are not sure when or if they will put the SA on their official webpage. But I should contact my local distributor to order one (directly from factory in Czech Republic, I believe).
Well, thats what I did and they told me in return there is no such an "SA" model on the CZ European pricelist (yet?).
Since I dont have a permit to own guns yet, I didt pursue the SA matter any further last year.

Thanks tar. I sent a mail to cz. I'm still waiting for a reply. I'm not too optimistic though. They also have the champion and the IPSC versions available in the USA, but the price difference between those two and the CZ75 SA is considerable. Let's hope they decide to offer it here in Europe too.

Have any of the "promotional offer" handguns been marketed as such in Europe?

By this, I am refering to:

1) The Turkish military contract 75Bs.
2) 75B with Firepoint sight as OEM.
3) 75BD "Police model" price reduction

There have probably been others.  The 75B SA was also marketed in the same way as those mentioned above.  All were intended to retail roughly between $325-$375.  (MSRP was somewhat higher of course).
The artist formerly known as FEG...

I'm not sure FEG. I've never seen such offers over here. Let's hope they start offering promotions like that in Europe too. I'd rather buy a cz75 sa for $400 than a cz 75 champion for roughly $600.

The CZ 75 BD is 500 EURO, the CZ 75 Champion is ~1300 EURO (sic!) over here (incl. 16% VAT).

Ouch!. Even worse than I though. That's why they should offer the CZ75 SA in Europe. By the way, CZ won't even reply to  my messages. Too bad for them.

I know  a CZech that has a CZ75SA,,
and $600 for a Champion?? I wish!  They
are $1,200 here.

Even the Dealer price is beyond me.

I wish for an ST frame (large) cut back for and a normal slide in 9mm.

>I wish for an ST frame (large) cut back for and a normal slide in 9mm. In January our distributor tested (inhouse) a 9mm exchange system forthe CZ75 IPSC. I was told it's based on a modified .40 IPSC slide andshould have gone into production a few weeks later (not sure if it did).Unfortunately I have no further information at this time and it didn'tseem to be an official CZ product, too.

Sorry guys, my mistake. I said $600 for a champion. I wished. It's more like $1,200 or around 1,400 Euros over here.

Frankonia gave me a price of 515 EUR without tax for the SA. They also do export.
Around mid October they will have a 9mm exchange system for CZ 75 ST IPSC at 629 EUR.
