That wasn't the only one, by far, but several were only a bit off center. About 1 out of every 4 was so far off center I feared for my decapping pin, and put them in the no-go pile.

Funny you should have 1 out of 4 off center.
Just for grins,  I found "4" Perfectas in today's range shoot pick-ups.

I deprimed them,  and "1" looked off center a little.  The other three "visually" looked okay.   :P

Old thread, but I've tried loading some perfecta brass @180gr Hornady BTSP rounds with 4064. Ran them down the 557 Varmint at 100m and patterned 1 MOA. Not tried them in the NDM-86 yet but I'm curious to see if it likes them. Have not tested them at long range with the ATRAG yet. That will be the test.

This thread had more to do with the 9mm handgun Brass.  I've got about 400 rounds of 9mm Perfecta Ammunition that I plan to just fire and then send the empties into the Range Brass Bucket.  I've got so much good commercial 9mm brass on hand, I won't miss it and don't need the trouble.

I have a fair amount of Perfecta loaded and had no issues with it.

Gotcha on the 9mm. The 308 experiment went great. Not sure how to post images here but the Perfecta once fired that I loaded up came in under a nickle at 100m (109 yds) Did a load of case prep on them but it was worth it. If any of y'all have a 557 I used 180gr Hornady BTSP, 39.5 gr 4064 with Federal 210 primers, seated to the middle of the cannelure with a pretty aggressive crimp. Like I said, I did a huge amount of case prep, cleaning flash holes, cleaning up the case mouth inside and out etc... Oh and I swaged the primer pocket as it looked as though they were crimped. Tried 40.5 grains and it didn't like them as much.
