Is there somewhere that I can send all of mine to train them to do that???
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

A lot of the time, it is the Bullet Profile that trips the Slide Stop
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

Wouldn't that only cause premature slide locked open?

Don't see how the bullet pressing up on the slide lock could make it drop.

Guys,  do me a favor.
Clear your pistol--make sure.
Remove the mag for sure.
Lock the slide back.  Grip the pistol strongly and slap the bottom of the mag well firmly with heel and palm of your weak hand---a good hard (ouch) slap.

You don't even need a 'mag' to release the slide.  The rebound inertia of a slap will lift the slide off the release.  No blood and no bruise,  just a firm abrupt bump.

When my SP-01 was new it would do it only now and then.  Now that its well broken in it does it almost every time I reload.

The angle of the slam makes a difference. To get it to happen every time,  you need to angle the hit on the pistol so your hand is coming up and slightly forward. It is less reliable if you come straight up from underneath. As far as i can tell, every cz will do it if you get the technique right. It's a great time saving feature

I can't really speak to the technique that was employed... as it was in the middle of an IDPA-style match.

It all happened fast... I just know I didnt have the sling shot the slide or hit the slide lock.

So bottomline... it's not a problem. Thanks to all for the feedbeck.

All my CZs did this brand new with new factory mags. I do believe it is more the shock of smacking the heel of your hand against the butt of the gun that jolts the slide forward. My Sphinx SDP did it brand new with new magazines as well, but during matches it sometimes doesn't work well - the slide moves forward but for some reason it doesn't always pick up a round. So I don't try to do it with the Sphinx. It is strange because during practice it works fine every time, but during a match it doesn't always pick up a round.
Musashi:
- In all forms of strategy, it is necessary to maintain the combat stance in everyday life and to make your everyday stance your combat stance. (situational awareness).
- You can only fight the way you practice.
- If you do not control the enemy, the enemy will control you.
