Israeli Surplus BUL Storm 9mm Para
« on: October 23, 2015, 12:32:50 PM »
I received my Israeli surplus 9mm Para BUL Storm the other day and was quite please with the firearm and how it shot (see Day at the Range category).  I paid the extra few dollars for handpicked out of five and the total came to $345, with shipping, from AIM Surplus to my FFL. The finish on the pistol is real nice with little holster wear marks.  The mechanics are also in great shape as well as the bore.  The pistol comes with one magazine but an IWI Jericho 941F magazine is a perfect in the Storm to include locking the slide back after the last round.

Very very Nice!  8)  Congratulations!  :)

You'll find that it will also run Mec-Gar Cz75B Magazines.

I just ordered one. I figure I need a project...

I'm sure you won't be disappointed.  This one fired great out of the box.

Not surprising.  The main reason I tried the a Jericho 941F magazine is that it was the first one I picked up from my cabinet, it looked right, and it fit. Does the slide lock to the rear after the last round with the Mec-Gar CZ 75B mags?

Yes!

Also, I've noted that when I've bought Mec-Gar small frame Witness Magazines, the package is usually marked for Witness/Baby Eagle.
That your Jericho Magazine fits your Bul Storm is no real surprise.

Buls are nice guns. I have a polymer Bul Impact (Charles Daly DDA) in 45acp. I was shooting it today. The gun is reliable and very accurate.

Here is one like mine.

Nice weapon. One hardly ever see them for sale or I'm looking in all the wrong places.  This is the first Bul I've owned and I am very pleased.  I wonder how your .45 ACP Impact would compare to a CZ 97?

I think I would compare my Bul Impact to a polymer witness more than a cz97. I actually think some internal  parts would interchange.
