I haven't had the pleasure of owning or even handling a DW 1911 but the Specialist has really caught my eye and the reviews seem to be great. I have owned a CZ97B worked over by Cajun Gun Works and think that a single action conversion would've suited it well but I didn't keep it long enough to do it. It's a huge pistol but very ergonomic compared to the 1911 in my opinion.
So my question is, do you guys/gals prefer the Specialist over the 97 if you've had experience with both?
