Finally Got My New 97 BD Today

The 97BD is a great pistol in so many ways... Not the least of which is the ability to quite easily build a custom shooter.
The CGW parts fit into the 97's the same way they do the 75's with equally amazing results.

Congrats! My 97BD is, IMHO, the "perfect .45" -- my two other beautiful "custom" .45s have since become safe queens that I have pondered selling.

I used to love 1911s, but after getting the 97BD, I can now only look at them and think, "Nice World War I relic, like a bolt-action rifle."

Bought a new P-01 last  month and now my FFL found a new 97B which will be here Monday. Now I realize that CZ is short for CraZy  !!  I'm ordering the CGW Pro package and hope to install it next week.  All the 1911's in the safe are collecting cobwebs. My '88 CZ 82 got me started on this CZ train and I can't get off.
