Can you put a SP-01 slide on a P-01 frame?
« on: July 29, 2016, 10:58:21 PM »
I have a CZ 75 P-01, and the option to buy a complete SP-01 slide assembly fairly cheaply. Will this slide work on the P-01 frame?

Should fit just fine, may require some fitting but I bet if you slide it on it will run like a top.

Personally think it fits better on MY frame but yes i should work.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

Welcome aboard.
Yes it should fit. Mine fits on my P01 with zero issues.
As Rhino stated, may need minor fitting.

Does anyone have any available pictures of a SP-01 slide mounted on a P-01 frame?

I was going to take a picture for you while I cleaned some guns from our range trip, but...

My SP01 slide does not fit my PCR, 75B, or my P01 frames. It won't even start on the 75B and it stops around the sear area on the compacts.

Ya I think the p-01 long slide looks pretty sexy, someone on here did it and I was able to find the old pics of it. That p-01 long slide has stuck in my brain.

like AZ_CZ pointed out it might not be a drop in fit and the ejector housing/sear cage might take some fitting.

Thanks "Big Time" for finding this picture for me! I now know that it does fit, and can be done. This pic was just what I needed. I was concerned that there might be a gap between the front of the frame dustcover/rail area and the rear/bottom of the slide. It is surprising that more people haven't tried this conversion. I think it is a good combination,... Longer sight radius, light rail, and compact grip.
