Brass: Pay It Forward & Swap/Exchange
« on: November 25, 2016, 08:37:13 AM »
I have once-fired 45ACP and 223 to swap for needed 38 and 357 brass. The best way may be to simply to fill up a USPS Flat Rate box and swap boxes, but if you have a better plan let's hear it. This is in as-fired condition.

 ;)

12/9/2016: I've been blessed by so many contributions from so many wonderful and generous respondents that I'm going to change the nature of the thread into a Pay It Forward theme. If you have spare brass, or need mixed range pick-up brass, post it in this thread.

I don't have enough to fill a box but I have some i could send your way.  For some reason I keep those when I find them at the range.  Not enough to warrant a trade though.

Cheers,
Toby

I have a baggie of 38 Special laying about, tumbled but not deprimed/resized. Might even have some primed, too, not sure, would have to look.

No, I'm just payin' it forward.  I was lucky enough to receive some Blue and Black bullet samples from Old Rocket a coupla years ago when he asked for volunteers to evaluate the two types.

Box went out today.  Sorry to say, I'm a cheap bastard.... and didn't send two day.  But in a week.....

Enjoy!

I raided the brass bucket at the range today and came up with a few...50+...pieces of 38 and 357 brass. I'll check the indoor range next week, and send whatever I find. :)
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

Thank you to all the people who responded. Since a great many had no desire to "swap" brass, it occurred to me that there was a greater need for a Pay It Forward brass exchange, here on our forum.

I've found that Small ($6.80) and Medium ($13.50) USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes are the easiest and least expensive way to ship. The boxes are free at the PO and the rate is fixed regardless of weight.

So if you have extra brass, post it. If you need brass, post it. Then contact the other person and arrange addresses via PM.

Tis the season to help each other.  ;)

I have 23 once fired Starline 44 Spl cases I don't need.

I will ship them free as cheap as I can if anyone needs them.

I bought a new toy and can use any unneeded .308 cases!

Brass: Pay It Forward with rangle pickups

Edit: I should read the entire thread before posting! I see that it's truly a pay it forward thread now...

In the spirit of the thread and the season, I'll offer up approx. 500 rounds of .357 Sig brass to a needy reloader.

I'm in need of .41 Magnum brass if anyone has some.
