Factory Chrome Pre-B 75. Ever seen one?

I just bought a 1986 CZ 75 on GB from CDI Sales. It's listed as "low density chrome finish". It's brighter and much more glossy than the nickel versions of the era. Almost looks like polished stainless. Anyway it's in the mail. I've not been able to find any reference to that finish. I'm under the impression that it is original, being a CDI surplus import. It's a beautiful pistol.  I'd love to know if anyone has any information or history on a chrome 75. Thanks. I'd link to the ended auction for pics but I don't believe that's allowed. Nice Pre-B 75.  The wear on the slide release and the safety make it look like it has a bright nickel finish.  If it came with a blued mag it would increase the likelihood of a refinish.

I'll be picking it up later today. The black showing in the pic is lighting. That mag doesn't look blued to me. A few more hours and I'll know more. It was $350 so I don't see how I can lose either way.

As luck would have it, a member of the CZ Facebook group posted a photo of his factory chromed 75 today. He's had it for many years and has the original box and paperwork. Confirmation that this was indeed a factory finish in the 80's.

Those rubber grips look good and will help you hold on to that gun. Beautiful.

I finally got out in the snowy badlands yesterday and put a hundred rounds through it. Flawless operation. The trigger is great. It shoots tight groups. Shoots 4" low at 15 yards though. Not happy about that. Not sure how I'll address that. I pulled the rear sight and it's marked #3. I have a couple #4 new takeouts but I discovered the rear dovetail on the newer ones is different so they wouldn't fit.
