Second trip out with my sp-01 shadow custom
« on: January 12, 2017, 03:15:43 PM »
Well I took it out a couple weeks back before the new year, 2 days before my first match with the shadow (which I was first in production with, only 3 shooters tho lol).

Targets at 7 yd 19 rounds, I was pulling the trigger as soon as sights were aligned.

Nice shooting. Glad the Shadow is working for you.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Well I usually just shoot at a metric target when I'm not shooting uspsa or the plate racks.

I probably should try it out further. I've mostly been trying to master the DA out of holster. I'm usually around 1.2-1.3 buy sometimes I creep right down to a 1.07. with an alpha.

But good news my alpha count has skyrocketed since swapping over from my Glock 26 lol.

Nice, I have not shot a Shadow, but it is on my list. I am afraid if I shot one I would have to have one.

Nice shooting.
I agree with A'man, you should try it out at 10, 15 and eventually 25 yards, as you build your own shooting level.
You mistakes will amplify as you increase distance.
I would not pull the trigger as soon as the sights are aligned, as by the time the trigger is pulled, sights have always already moved. Trust your wobble, and squeeze the trigger like you would squeeze a lemon. With practice, wobble will reduce and squeeze will improve.
Enjoy your pistol and your shooting!
Life is too short to waste on a bad trigger pull

70 yards, I was shooting arms on a table. 5 round group that made minor power factor :)

Funny thing my dot was the exact same size as the dot I drew on the 2/3 USPSA metric target.
