Semi compacts anyone?

Anyone have a semi compact? How do they shoot compared to the compacts? How about full sized? How are they to ccw?

How about some pics?  Perhaps this thread

I like the Semicompact concept, but to be honest, carry the PCR as part of my rotation.  A 16 round magazine with an adapter inserted into the compacts provides a similar handle for a spare mag and/or fun at the range.

in summary, if you can find one, buy it OF COURSE!

By the way, I have no issues with trigger bite, pinch while shooting the PCR as standard.  Additionally, although I thought the PCR's magazine forward lip not quite clearing the pinky would present a problem, I don't even notice it while shooting (nor does the target).

I purchased the 75 D Compact about a month ago and am very happy with the pistol even with only 165 rounds fired. The stock trigger bite my finger but I installed Cajun's Old Style trigger and that made a big difference. If you change the trigger BE SURE to order the new trigger pin. The stock pin is a throw-away and will not stay seated once it's removed and reinstalled. I also installed Cajun's Ultra-lite kit and that dropped about 2 lbs. off the DA trigger pull. The SA is about 4.75 lbs now.

No, the semi-compact has a full size frame/grip.

A semi-compact is next on my list - I love the proportions of them visually. The one time I was able to handle one, the balance was just about perfect.

I'm really liking my Massada.  I have been dry firing with a washer over the firing pin.  The DA is really coming around.  I also had the 10x bushing and TFX Pro sights installed.  I'm hoping to get her to the range this week.

The Semi Compact gives you the advantages of:
Recoil control, thanks to the full sized grip and of course, full, HiCap Mags
The concealability of the Compact Upper
The weight difference isn't all that much
The main weight difference is in the added capacity
I have two Semi Compacts in my carry rotation

One is my DuoTone CZ75 Semi Compact:

The other is a Witness DuoTone in 10mm, which is my DTD Carry:
So tell me again how Trump will be worse then the last 8 years !

This one was mislabeled in the auction title but still drew a couple of dueling bidders. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/624349906

Edit: the winner has been on a recent winning tear picking up three other older CZ 75s including the hard chromed '86 pre-B. Must be one of you members here
