I have been lusting after a brass receiver 357/38 Henry for YEARS! I mean full on drool worthy lust. I keep waiting and they keep going up in price. I think this year may be the one.

Now I'm going to spend WAY over what I planned for the year. I need one of those steel framed Big Boys carbines in 327 Federal and one of those steel single shots in 44mag and maybe .223. I just ordered a Steel frame Big Boy in 44 Mag and a Skinner peep sight to go with my new 44 Special revolvers.

I've been partial to the 41 Magnum myself......the Big Boy Brass Carbine was a huge and awesome surprise, I think Henry is going to try and close down Marlin with these releases.......shouldn't be too difficult to just nudge Marlin (aka REMlin) over the cliff, they have been working hard to run themselves out of business the past several years.

As I already have one of the Big Boy .357's and absolutely love it,  I must say get one of their levers if that is tripping your fancy.  Very fine craftsmanship on mine, and smooth!

That being said, one of those single shot rifles look very interesting to me.

Love the skinner peep sight. I run that on my brass big boy 44. Had one on my 357 big boy until I had to sell that rifle.

100% agreement.  And this is from a formally die hard Marlin fanboy.  They haven't been able to make quality firearms for many years.

I have one on  my 357 steel frame and 22lr Small Game Carbine. Love the large aperture for rabbit and squirrel hunting, use the small aperture for soda can extermination.

The Henry rifle has always been in the back of my mind to purchase.

I've always said the .327 was marketed wrongly.  When it came out, it was heavily pushed as a self defense round.  I always thought that a lightweight carbine would be perfect for this little round.

If they shaved another pound off the rifle, I'd buy one.  But at 6.5 pounds, I think it'll be a little heavy and clunky for what it is.  Kinda like building a 28 gauge on a 12 gauge frame.

Henry products havn't really been on my radar, but one chambered in .41 magnum is really tempting.....
