I just saw on their Facebook page that they're now estimating late April for receiving the first batch.

Crap. So that means the Shadow 2 will be after that...

If you go to Cabelas web sight it says the P 10 C is 19 -20 weeks. That stinks.

This is actually par for the course with CZ. They'll create a big media wow, get everybody enthused to buy immediately, and then ship like 20 a month.

Strangely, the only pistols that they seem content to ship en masse are Dan Wessons, as if there isn't any competition for 1911 models. Go to about any store that claims to sell CZs, and they'll have 20 Dan Wessons sitting around, but no P-01s, PCRs, 97s, SP-01s, etc.

That's because to be a CZ authorized direct dealer you are strongly encouraged (borderline required) to carry the entire Dan Wesson line.

Makes sense, sadly.

New to CZ, so I was hoping you guys could give me some general knowledge about the company. I'm just curious how long it usually takes them to get the new guns out. I placed my order at my lgs about a month ago. They still have zero timeframe on when they will get the gun in. I like to go to Slickguns on a regular and look around. I've been watching Cabela's timeframe on getting the P10-C in and it keeps going up and up. Started out at 4-8 weeks, now they are up to 19-20. This is my first CZ so I was hoping you guys might have a bit more feel as to timeframe on new guns from them.

Placed a preorder at Cabela's 2 weeks ago, it said 4-5 weeks.  Now they changed it to 11-12 week ETA!!!! >:(
Hate to break it to you but..... The timeframe has grown a bit.

I didn't pre-order through Cabella's as I figured (quite correctly, apparently) that everybody-and-their-dog would, and so the shipment time would get pushed into the Fall of 2024.

Personally, as much as I would like to get my hands on a P10C, I'm taking the opportunity to convince myself that I need a second PCR and a second 97 to hold me over.  ;)

I put my name on a waiting list today for the New CZ P-10 C-Striker-9mm.
My dealer ordered around 189. I'm number 39 on the list. He said I should be able to get one out of the first  Shipment?
I ordered the FDE as first choice and Black as my second choice. List price less than $500.00.
The first shipment is suppose to arrive in April?
Who really knows?

I never buy anything when it firsts comes out. Not for reliability but just because by waiting the aftermarket support will likely be much better and the pricing too. I did that with my VP9. I actually waited 2 years since it had been released. I got a great deal and avoided some of the teething problems. I'm the same way with vehicles and motorcycles. I can tell you GM is known for 1st model year problems that get ironed out later

Cabela's dropped the offer from their catalog!  After posting ETA of 18-19 weeks.
