Surface protection after polishing

What have those of you with trigger jobs done after polishing to protect the surface finish and prevent corrosion/rust?

If you are speaking of the polished internals CZ's run wet. I always rub on a little CLP Break Free on all the polished internals so everything runs smooth as butter. I have never had any problems with the polished part rusting and it also makes cleaning very easy.

I assumed as much, but figured I'd consult the hive.

At the risk of starting a "what kind of oil should I run" thread...
I like this EWG:

CGW makes some good stuff too:

Stay away from Frog Lube IMHO.

Dunno. I use Frog lube, works fine for me. Never had any lube related failures.

Many products are used,  but keeping a very then coating of your favorite lubricant will keep it corrosion free.
My Mobile 1 requires replacement every 400-500 RDS.  Other heavier lubes may last longer....or not.

Gun oil.......its formulated to not thicken over time, it maintains a thin consistency like when it came out of the bottle, general oils will turn into almost a thick grease......gun oil won't .  ;)
