Alright, I ordered a 10x bushing for the tac sport and installed it in my standard ipsc slide(preB Tac Sport)

First thing I noticed was how much shorter the 10x bushing is than the worn out stock bushing.  After installing the bushing there is a visible gap in the slide.  Is this how the bushing installs on the tac sports as well?

Is there any play or movement when the bushing is installed? How the barrel lock up?

Call CGW, they'd know for sure.

The stock bushing is almost paper thin at the rear.  We made ours slightly shorter but stiffer, resulting in more structural rigidity when compared to the OEM bushing.  Stock bushing is not heat treated, CGW bushing is heat treated to RC 56-58.

CGW bushing is designed to be driven into the slide for a very snug fit, so there is -0- play within the slide.  Bushing ID is critical, and we old this to .0005" (one half of one thousand) so when the slide is in battery, the barrel is locked into position, which results in virtually no play at the muzzle.

Here is what I have been able to do consistently with a standard 75B slide with no changes other than the 10x bushing, and a red dot sight.  This slide was a dog with the factory bushing.

Lock up is great and definitely did away with all the slop.  Just wanted to be sure I had put in the right part.  Thank you very much.
