The OAL, folding stock, flash hider... just a few things off the top of my head I see that are illegal here. With a lot of expensive compliance work, it?s possible it?d be ok but not worth the cost.

I know prices are down due to a slower market but why the fire sale?  The 805 is an awesome weapon.  1/2 the price of a SCAR is a steal.

Maybe they ARE clearing out stock for the 806, but I would bet it's just supply and demand. The AR market is way over supplied and if all you want/need is a semi auto that shoots 5.56 then it's a 2 for 1 deal. If you're not too worried about component quality maybe 3 for 1. That math is hard to beat.

Last weekend I kept seeing these great deals on parts. Picked up some to upgrade a couple rifles but by Sunday I realized I had bought everything for an AR except the lower. Now the problem is do I upgrade or build all new.

I just bought a Bren 805 rifle for $1322 delivered with insurance from Bud's.  After my dealer's $25 transfer, I'll be in it for $1347 out the door.  I was going to wait for the 806, but that price was too good to pass up on.

Wow,

Congrats!  Great job getting that deal.  I won't be surprised if a lot of people keep both when the 806 comes out.

That is outstanding. :) On my want list is an FDE pistol to brace up, but that will require mucho overtime. :)

I'm looking at 1900 here in MA. The dealer apparently orders them, and has them sent to a gunsmith to be made MA compliant. I can't imagine that part costs too much, but choices are limited for this type of rifle, and laws are changing constantly, so I need to get one asap if I want one.

hat does it take to be MA compliant?

They pin the stock so it can't fold or move in or out, and they make the muzzle brake non removable, so as to prevent installation of a flash suppressor. And they only give you 10-round mag(s), not the 30 it comes with. But it takes pre-ban AR-15 mags, so that's not too much of a problem.

Sounds like Socialist Republik of Kalifornia.  With exception of the muzzle brake.

Here's my new baby!

Now I need something to see though.  Is there some sort of optic that the Czech military uses?
