At $299.00 really can not go wrong with the C100...especially now that CGW has included more parts and customizing of the Canik made firearms.  I stated in another thread I sold mine to pick up a P07, but the C100 is a great clone

sorry to bump an old thread, i found one of these for private sale for $300 cash, and am inclined to pick it up. can anyone tell me how they shoot? I've been looking for videos or reviews, but can't find anything really descriptive.

i prefer 9mm over 40, but enjoy shooting my xdm 40 in shorter sessions. id imagine this is a little easier on the hand due to the steel slide and frame. any fast ways to reduce the "felt recoil" with a higher strength recoil spring?

thanks in advance!

If your used to shooting 40 SW then you will love it. I really do like mine but then again I have several 40 SW guns as well as 9MM...the steel frame and weight does make a difference in it's handling recoil

thank you so much for the reply. i dont shoot 40 too much, but i can get used to it. the prices in my area have dropped considerably, i can get it at around $0.18-$0.22/per round. i would like to get this if i can tinker with parts every now and then on the cheap as opposed to regular CZ prices.

one strange thing i noticed, is that when i grip the pistol (right handed), if my right thumb rests on the safety toggle, there is some slight downward play of the safety that i haven't experienced in prior CZ or my cm9 gen 2.

when i take the slide off and watch, there is a little give on the safety on a tiny metal bar on the sear cage on the left side where the safety bar is coming through from left to right.

has anyone else noticed this? can the safety toggle be replaced easily? interchangeable with CZ compact parts?
